For 4th of July, we were in charge of the neighborhood party! Annabelle and I enlisted the help of the Lily's and together they made signs for the games at the island! They did a fabulous job!
Proof that Penny isn't just crazy....
Her and the girls were sitting and playing Simon with NO BITES!
Playing at the "Big Carrswold" Entrance
We've realized that Penny might be the most athletic dog on the planet...we've started our early morning 2 mile bike/run through "Big Carrswold". We live on "Little Carswold"...one "r". The extra "r" in Carrswold represents about 2 million dollars....the homes over there are crazy! We love the huge looping street and insanely challenging hills. I'm amazed at Annabelle's ability to climb the hills on her bike...she's come quite a long way. Those leg muscles are put to the test daily...not to mention my near collapse each loop....I think Piper weighs 300lbs in the stroller!
Reggie has a home fit for an Island King!
Mr. Brian came over and helped me fix up the backyard...it was looking pretty sad and drab! About a ton of mulch, some tropical plants and rearranging...it's a tiki-dream back there again!
I wonder if any other Mom's make their children pose in a "Good-Bye" photo to their vacuum.
The man at the Dyson store said I was the first he saw....
We had to say goodbye to the original Dyson last week. They stopped making parts to fix it. It was a surprisingly sad moment! For real! We received the vacuum as an engagement present from Gammie and Pop-Pop. When you are married long enough to have a Dyson break to the point of no repair...you realized you've aged quite a bit! Adam made me laugh really hard when I sent him this picture saying we had to bid fare-well to our fine vacuum. He responded with:
"I'm certain she went peacefully and died from exhaustion".
I had all four of these ladies for dinner and a sleep over so we went to Anthony's for pizza.
Just delish!
The next morning was 4th of July- Here they are decorating their bikes!
Piper getting ready for the parade!
Wydown Forest kids getting ready!
Block Party fun!
Later that day we went to the Maher's for some more summer fun!
The girls and I took a trip out to Cuiver State Park. We had a great time swimming in the river!
At the vet the other day Penny met her sister!
We won on the cute puppy award! I couldn't get a good picture of the two of them. I thought it would be this amazing reunion and they would play and hug. They essentially ignored each other.....But everyone else in the waiting room was almost excited as I was for the reunion!
The girls and I headed to the Sculpture park with Penny. It was simply amazing. Penny loved being in the woods and hiking! We have definitely learned one thing:
A tired puppy is a good puppy!
She keeps us moving!
All. The. Time!
