A "Totality" awesome day!

The Eclipse was here and it was awesome!

We were fortunate enough to join a whole bunch of new friends from our neighborhood at a Family home in Pacific.  It was beyond spectacular!

ECLIPSE PARTY 2017

School Starts Tomorrow!

The day has come....as of tomorrow morning, we will officially have a SECOND GRADER!

We had a wonderful summer, I feel like we used every day, and it feels about right that school starts tomorrow!

We packed in the last of the summer wish list and had a Lemonade and Cookie stand!  It was a raging success!  Annabelle delivered flyers the day before...we spent a lot of quality time baking iced sugar and chocolate chip cookies and made a double batch of Cherry Lemonade!  30 lemons and 13 sour cherries to be exact!  The girls did awesome and made $40!  Layla even stopped by for a bit and helped out with sales!  It was so much fun and SO SWEET to see Annabelle and Piper working together!

Adam was there for the beginning and had the opportunity to show neighbors that I didn't make him up and that he does, in fact exist!

Gammie comes tomorrow (we will miss seeing Pop-Pop, but someone has to hold down the fort for Marley and Norah in FL) and I'll be back to post Back to School photos!

End of Summer Fun

With only 4 days until school starts...we are busy packing in end of summer fun!

We had ONE rainy day in what feels like all of summer...the kids were LOVING it!  Piper was very excited to use the Piggy Umbrella!

Adam was home for dinner one night which was an extra special treat!  I think there have been 3 all summer.... We hit up our most favorite fancy pizza place, Pi!  It didn't disappoint, and neither did the world's most delicious ice cream down the block!

BIG GIRL BED!

We decided to put the big girl bed in Piper's room in addition to the crib.  Since she's fully potty trained, we think it's a good idea to start the transition.  She loves is, but ultimately says "Actually, I'd like to sleep in my crib".
