We arrived in Florida January 26th, and didn't skip a beat! The kids were thrilled to ditch their pants and coats and trade them for shorts and sunscreen! I am always amazed at how much time we spend at the train park....simple pleasures are best I guess! So, we spent our first morning post-jog at the train park...riding scooters and just hanging out!

While Annabelle was in school Adam, Piper and I headed to MacArthur Park for the morning...so beautiful! We ended up taking a 3 mile walk on the beach...Pips little legs were tired!

We took the kiddos to the Manatee Fest at Manatee Lagoon....a beautiful facility and the inspiration for Annabelle's Science project which she has dutifully been working on!
Annabelle's been joining her teacher, Mrs. Mooney at the barn to work after school! She's put in some good hours and serious work cleaning stalls and grooming horses....all the unglamorous parts!

The girls and I headed back to MacArthur park for Annabelle to find some inspiration and take some photos. She's entering the photo contest at their yearly festival!

Sweet Sisters!
On Adam's last Sunday til September, we spent the morning on a jog, then the beach, then picked up everyone's favorite Publix sandwich and headed to Dubois for a beachfront lunch and play!
It was a beautiful day!!!
After DuBois, we headed to Juno beach for an informal work get-together with all the kids. I thought ours would melt since we'd been at the beach since 10am. NOPE!
Annabelle played in the waves for another 3 hours only to be dragged out because the sun was setting! And after and hour and a half in the water for Piper, she switched to some sand fun!
