Sesame Street LIVE!

Annabelle and I went on a date Thursday Night to Sesame Street live...and she LOVED IT! It was such a great night and little did I know that Abby is her favorite character!! She literally screamed and jumped when she came on stage!!

Since it's SO nice out today (36) and sunny....we're going to go walk around the neighborhood and enjoy some fresh air. Still can't believe I'm saying 36 is "nice".....oh Florida, we can't wait to meet again!

A full week!

We started out the week with family gym time! Annabelle showed off her skillz at the Y's Open Pre-school gym....

Bonjour!

Annabelle est Francais dans son beret!

Since we're in the midst of learning to speak French (our winter project) Annabelle felt compelled to show her support by wearing her beret.... Merci Mademoiselle!

Then she let us know how she "really" feels about it....

Today she ran into the living room, grabbed baby, brought her back into the dining room and starting taking care of her!

Why we love the Y!

Annabelle is LOVING spending the mornings and afternoons over at the Y! Today we played in the "Pre-School Open Gym", she climbed and ran and played basketball!! Then we went over to the pool to swim...and she LOVES it!! We stay in until she starts turning blue...then it's time to shower and head home for lunch and a nap. Ummm, being a mom is AMAZING...best. job. ever.

Weekend Fun!

We had a very busy weekend so far! Saturday we went the Transportation Museum...the small kids discovery area was closed for a birthday party...booo..but Annabelle still had a fun time running around. After that we stopped at our local YMCA and joined!! We are SO excited to start swimming...I think we'll be going over this evening to test Annabelle out in the pool! There's so much to do there and it is BEAUTIFUL! Brand new, amazing gym, tons of classes for adults AND babies, kid-watch so we can work out while she plays....the list goes on and on! We're also very excited to have a membership to the outdoor pool this summer! When Tami, Chris and the girls came to visit last year, they were SO tan and we were SO pale...this year, IT'S ON now that we'll also belong to a pool!!

Last night Adam and I went out for dinner with friends then to Tony LaRussa's benefit show for his Animal Rescue Foundation...SO MUCH FUN! Then, this morning Annabelle and I met our friends Brandi and Tyler, went over to the Winter Warm-Up, then to Hartford Coffee shop for drinks and play! It's been a busy but fun weekend...and Adam JUST called and is heading home from work!! Whooo hooooo

Oh, and the Packers.....THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were at Target last week, and Adam showed Annabelle this shirt. She pulled it out of his arms, put it on the ground, and layed ontop of it. It was, of course, a must-have. She gets VERY excited when it's time to wear the "Maddie-Shirt". She points and says "Mayeee, Mayee" Very, very very sweet!!

City Museum FUN...!!!

Well, I can officially say that today was the BEST play-day of Annabelle's life. She had SO SO SO much fun at the City Museum this morning-afternoon! She was non-stop playing, laughing, even squealing!! She loved everything...the ball pit, her friends, painting, watching a circus, riding the train (ALONE!!) going up and down the slide about a million times... I don't think I can explain how much fun she had today. I think she is now a certified KID.... no more baby.... and, it just keeps getting better and better!

She's starting to talk a lot more... today she took off her socks pointed to her feet and said "toes". Oh, I love her!
