Oh dear....

So it's officially time to leave Florida, and we had a wonderful last week! Gammy came to visit and her and Annabelle spent tons of time together while Adam and I got some much needed time out!

Annabelle learned a lot from Gammy....but most impressive (I think) is S-T-O-P 'Stop' She says each letter than the word when she sees a stop sign. This morning, even through the awful cold and fever (Annabelle got sick yesterday) as I was changing her diaper she looked at my shirt which says HOUSTON in bold letters, and said "S T O " Stop.... I thought it was pretty cool that she recognized the letters out of context!

There are no pictures at the moment, she is not in prime photo shape with this horrendous cold.... My fingers are crossed that she feels better for tomorrow's plane ride....

that's all!

One Week Left...

We have definitely soaked up every bit of fun, sun and sand while we've been here! As beautiful as Florida is, we are ALL looking forward to getting back home and enjoying Spring in St Louis!

Here are a bunch of random pictures from the last week or so....

Hanging out in one of the onesies Aunt Tami sent!!

At the beach

Chillin in the sand

One of our early morning walks on the beach with Bailey.
I think these are my favorite times with Annabelle in FL!

She loves climbing the sand walls

and walking down the shoreline

Playing in the backyard sorting shells in her wagon

getting in the car with Mickey and Baby

Marley and Annabelle at DuBois

They're pretty cute!

So, after DuBois I was changing Annabelle and had forgotten a change of clothes....Alison had extra clothes for Norah in the back so Annabelle ended up in a 0-3 month outfit that she had passed down to Norah.....0-3 months and it still fit....haha

posing!

banana daiquiris for Adam and I....don't mind if I do!

Last night Annabelle and I went on a date since Adam had a work dinner. We went to Downtown at the Gardens, rode the carousel, played at Latte-Fun (indoor play park) had dinner at Whole Foods, walked around, watched live music then had frozen yogurt....it was SO fun. She must have had a great night because I had to wake her up at 9:45am today....!!!

We've turned a-new!!

So, as of this morning at a workout "bootcamp" class, the clingy-ness is GONE! It really started yesterday at the Park where Annabelle ran off to play on the jungle gym leaving me behind....then, continued this morning while I took a class for an HOUR, and she happily played with the other kids and sitter, totally seperate from me. I couldn't believe it, she didn't cry ONCE!!

Since this is the place to brag about your baby bc only grandparents and good friends read it, I'm pleased to announce that also new this week, naming things and identifying shapes and letters! She is up to 9 on the back patio! When we came back from bootcamp this morning and walked out back she got EVERY ONE correct....of course I didn't have the camera running...of course. So far here's what we know that she knows:

A
X
B
S
circle
heart
square
triangle
star

Here are pictures from the last few days...

Here's Annabelle eating lunch oceanside at our friends Ellen & Pete's condo..

Playing at Dubois

I just thought this was really pretty....

She's really, really funny and laughs and smiles a lot!

This face reminds me of Marley!

Had to get one of the saddest pout around...never lasts long

A bow...a bow stays in the hair...only took 17 months!!

Boat!

Putting her boat on all the shapes/letters...our fun new game for now....

Love you all very, very much!
