She keeps it interesting!

Annabelle officially turned 1 year old today. It's a wonderful day. This week has definitely had its ups and downs. Saturday was Annabelle's 1st birthday party. It was a beautiful day, but we could tell she wasn't feeling well. She ended up with a virus, Roseola. The high spiking fevers that accompanied it had her in the hospital for a few days. We are so thankful that she has recovered and is just fine. We are fortunate to have such wonderful friends and loving family that prayed for her...it worked! Thank you so everyone for your support during the scariest few days of our lives...

But...... now it's time to celebrate and look at all the wonderful memories!

Saturday Night, Post-Party

After the party around 10PM, Annabelle started a really high fever. Adam & I took her to the ER. They sent us home with no real idea what was causing it. Here's Annabelle in her itty bitty ER gown, none to pleased!

Sunday night was the scary night, ambulance ride, etc. They admitted her to the hospital for a few days while they ran tests, took blood and a spinal tap to find the cause of the fevers. The poor thing had an IV in her itty bitty head...but did really well with it. Here she is resting...

A few days later she was feeling much better and shared breakfast with Dolly & Mickey!

And...the final diagnoses was Roseola. Here's our little Rosie (as we like to call her now!) rash and all!!

Yesterday Rosie was back to herself!! She's loving the water-table from G&G Ole!

Dads are so much fun because they let you do things Moms don't!

After assembling the rocket ship in the living room, we turned the 3rd floor into Annabelle's ultimate playroom!!

This morning's intimate 1st birthday celebration!! She's officially one, officially healthy, and officially the best part of our lives!!

Best Friends Forever

This was a great week for Annie! Her best friend from Philadelphia, Lily came to visit. We had such a great time playing, walking around St Louis, visiting the Arch and eating some great food.
