Happy Birthday to Piper!

All of the warm and fuzzy words in the world wouldn't do justice for the love we have for Piper James!  This sweet sweet sweet munchkin turned one yesterday!  She had the best-day-ever kind of day.  We played at the park, ate, slept, ate, ate cake, opened presents, and she got an extra-long birthday girl bath.  We are so happy she is here, and in true Piper fashion, she acts like she's just happy to be here.  Such a joy, such a love!

3 Day Weekend!

Having now finished three weeks of school, I feel like we all deserved a 3-day weekend.  It was a bummer Adam couldn't enjoy with us, and an even bigger bummer the Cardinals lost...lost a lot...lost badly...but somehow we managed to enjoy our down time!

Quite some time has passed since this blog has been updated!  

Let's see....we sold a house, we bought a house, we had a baby and we started Kindergarten!  Each adventure, each year, each day has been incredible.  Some are more fun then others...but all in all Adam and I couldn't imagine a life any better then the one we are living! 

Baseball strikes again (I love puns) and Adam will be out of town for both girls' birthdays, including the party we planned around the baseball schedule....!  Ha.  So, to make up for his absence and find a reason to eat more cake, we threw a surprise 1st and 6th birthday party last night!  Annabelle was thrilled and Piper was happy to eat....  eat more, eat anything!
