Official Family Day 2017

I forgot about these photos...

From Family Day:

Camp Mom!

With summer in full swing and a few glorious months with the kiddos without silly school getting in the way, the girls and I have been hitting up the town!  We joined the Brose's for a morning at the Magic House.  Everyone enjoyed...especially splashing outside in the water!  Piper and Lydia loved making funny faces....it's like a snapshot to the past of Annabelle and Layla 5 years ago!

I took a long awaited trip to Philadelphia...Adam and I had an incredible day of just being us....we drank a coffee for 45 minutes.  The things you look forward to...!  ha!

Then, Meghann and I were reunited.  It did not disappoint.  Waaaay too much fun.

After three days, I missed the girls dearly....it even took me by surprise just how badly I wanted to get back!  The girls were in great hands with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Chuck....I think they all had a blast and were all exhausted from the fun!

After they left, Annabelle decided she wanted a "box-dog".  "What's a box-dog?" you ask....well..... here she is!

There's a video to compliment....we put her on wheels!

Walking to the library is a favorite....I think we go 2-3 times per week!
Sweet sisters outside

The other day Piper FINALLY used the potty for the dreaded deed....we celebrated by park and candy shop.  She got a Pez dispenser that she was THRILLED about.

15 minutes after this photo was taken, she pooped in her underwear.

Awesome.

Zoo Day!

A bonnetted beauty who never disappoints in the fashion department!

Sisters and their ice cream cones.

Today was Operation Stay-cation.

We hit up Protzels Deli for bagels and the paper...

Followed by a lovely stroll downtown

Lunch at the Hilton

And a ride to the top of the Arch.

I let Annabelle know, numerous times, that she is the only person in the whole entire world I would EVER go on this adventure with.....

I can check it off my list as one and DONE.

The miniature Willy-Wonka-esque elevator you enter....

When Piper looks cramped you can imagine how small it is....5 people...4 minutes up, lots of fun noises.

The girls loved it.  Annabelle's ready to go again.  I'll pass.

Piper desperately wants to take a ride on the helicopter tour.

I'll pass.

A Working Girl!

Annabelle has been busy starting a few new endeavors!  Today she decided to start the "Evening News".  A publication she prints at the library with change then distributes in mail boxes on the evening dog walk.  She assures me that topics will vary but she felt the weather was what was on everyone's mind today!

Next, "Good Dog" pet sitting.  She has her first client booked for early next week.

She does these on her own, wants ZERO input from Piper or I....

I love her spirit!

Some summer

Piper's sense of humor....

Swim Team Practice!

Last week we drove out to Purina Farms for the morning.  The kids loved it!  You may have been the lucky recipient of an Annabelle/Dog hybrid photo...that's where it was created.  The kids loved the animals, and went crazy for the dog show at the end.  Piper is still talking about the giant splash from the black dog.

Mobot Afternoon.

Annabelle, Piper, Lilly (across the street) and I went to Mobot for a wonderful afternoon.  They successfully covered pretty much every square inch of the enormous property, then cooled off in the splash jets in the children's garden.  I was impressed with Piper's ability to keep up!

Family Day at the ball park.

It was a solid 200 degrees on the field.  Piper LOVED the bounce houses, was terrified of Fred Bird and thought it was wildly funny that Elsa was hungry and eating nachos.  After a bit we realized she thought Fred Bird was going to "eat my face"... stemming from "2017 Spring Training Seagull Gate"

Summer in the City!

We are officially in LOVE!  Clayton has surpassed our expectations!  The pool has been wonderful so far...running into new friends, lots of laughs, lots of playing.  Reunited with the Maher's (Grace and Clare)... Tonight we went to "the other Annabelle's" house for dinner and drinks...simply wonderful.

Here are pictures from the last week:
