First day of summer Saturday Pancakes
I wish this picture was better....while I was cooking Annabelle and Peyton were on Piper duty in the basement.... As she was a starfish on the ground, they gave her a thorough check-up.
She is SO happy when the big girls pay attention to her. She does WHATEVER they say....!

And what is in that baby's hand??? A sucker... for reals... and why you ask?!?
Because this adorable, non-speaking, crazy climbing, fearless, silly baby went #2 in the potty today. She loves one of Annabelle's old Sesame Street potty training books and we read it daily. For a few weeks she's been going in the bathroom wanting to take her diaper off, etc... but she was always VERY upset about the little seat that goes on the toilet so she doesn't fall in. I honestly give no effort toward her actually using the potty bc she's still a baby...right??!! Well, I should have known better that the girl likes a dangerous challenge...she really lives on the edge....the edge of falling in the toilet.... Regardless.... today, she went in the bathroom, tried to disrobe, then wanted to climb on up, sans toddler seat. Through bizarro commands...because remember she DOES NOT SPEAK...she climbed on, sat for a few minutes while Annabelle and I joked about her using the potty and then...ta da....Diddle Diddle Dotty, Piper's using the Potty... (a line from the Sesame Street Book).
The little girl did it. So she got a sucker.
Weird!
20 months old, says Mommy, Daddy, MINE, ish (fish), hsss (horse), Baee (Bailey)
And uses the potty.
The whole family celebrated!
Then later this evening we had a graduation party to attend. I am wiped from constantly cooking and cleaning, and cooking and cleaning, and cooking and cleaning and cooking and cleaning....so I left the house saying "they will eat there, I'm not packing anything, they will be fine." Annabelle was fine and ate like a champ. For dinner tonight Piper had a Capri Sun (gasp) one bite of white bread (ick), one baked bean (yay), a cupcake (eeeek) and half a cookie (oh dear). Pretty sure Annabelle almost fainted watching this go down! I think there was a mash up of disbelief, jealousy and general confusion! Silly second babies... SMH (shaking my head)!
