Snow Day!

Eik...bad picture to lead off with!! She was having fun until she fell, went to wipe her eyes, then got covered in snow....!! This morning was Annabelle's FIRST snow experience. She gets a B+ for tolerating it long enough for pictures!! I think we'll need to build up to truly enjoying it!!

First steps in the snow....
By the look on her face I think she has her father's attitude about winter!

Climbing up the steps...a bit more difficult than normal

lol...in Emmersen's size 2T snow pants... they are wrapped around her entire body about 4 times.... the craziest part is underneath she's wearing a size 6 mo. onesie...She's incredibly resourceful.....

Trying to keep up with her dogs who LOVE the snow...

Once she discovered the fence that opens and closes, she was happy for a while!

awwwwwww

After we came in and warmed up, Annabelle realized it was time to feed baby.
She took baby and her highchair from her playroom and marched it into the living room!!

Getting baby ready to eat...

This may be a stretch, but I'm pretty sure that she put the high chair next to her kitchen so she could cook for her. More and more she's starting to copy what we do...so it makes sense!!

In other Annabelle news, last week she got SO excited when she saw the heart on my "I Heart NY" t-shirt. She was pointing and grabbing going Dat Dat Dat...I said "heart" and she repeated it right back, clear as day. Then all morning she was obsessed with the word heart. After I changed I forgot all about it....

So, yesterday, we were in the living room playing and she started saying "heart, heart, heart" and paging through her books. We found a heart and she was SO happy. I was telling Adam last night, and he said that over Christmas, Annabelle kept pointing to and looking at a print in Grandma Mary & Grandpa Chuck's house of hearts....and that's where she learned it. It was SO fun to realize that she truly made the connection of seeing the heart on my shirt to weeks earlier of the print at G&G Ole's, then just randomly thought of the word heart yesterday.

I realize this isn't ground breaking news...but, it's SO fun to watch her learn!!
xoxo
