Parish Picnic Time...!

May in Saint Louis means Parish Picnic Time.  The rides, the games, the smiles....my oh MY did Annabelle have a fantastic weekend!! Saturday she spent 8 hours there!  We had beautiful weather, wonderful friends and rides GALORE!

Annabelle's class had a field trip to the zoo with their 8th grade buddies, so Adam, Piper and I tagged along for a few hours!  It was a lovely morning with our monkeys!

She does not enjoy the shoulder rides nearly as much as Annabelle...Annabelle LOVED them!

A Whole New World!

For a few weeks Annabelle has been hinting that her vision was less then perfect.....today was the day...this little beauty added glasses to her look!

I think she looks fabulous!!

It is hot hot hot in the city!

For the past few days it's felt like we skipped spring and went right to summer!  The kids have been loving sundresses, sandals and no long sleeves!  Annabelle says it's just like FL, minus the family and fun.... booooooooo

Piper LOVES to ride all the toys in the driveway.  I think it's her most favorite thing to do!  I think she misses the Pirate Ship from FL.  Good thing we have about 200 toys from Annabelle to fill in!

I didn't get a very good picture, but it's ADORABLE...when Annabelle practices her ballet dance on the computer, Piper follows right along.  She might know the dance better than some of the kids in the class!

Melt Your Marshmallows...and Your Heart!

With summer-like temperatures, the new pool safety fence, and a Dad in town we broke out the S'mores...Two nights in a row!!  Annabelle was over the moon about it and Piper REALLY enjoyed a few bites.

Piper FINALLY shows some interest in books aside from being a precursor to bed....

First tee-ball game of the season!  The team did AWESOME!!  There were several huge hits (kids get 5 pitches, then the tee if they need it)  Annabelle had one of the giant hits.  Then she took a giant hit to the eye!  She screamed (like a loony toon) then got right back in the game!

After covering herself in the paint, eating some paint, stepping in some paint, and smearing paint all over her mother, she was stripped down to the diaper!

Annabelle was reading to Piper for bedtime tonight and Piper loved every minute of it.  Day by day Annabelle becomes an even sweeter sister!

A preview of the big Spring Ballet Recital Dance.

Annabelle is front right (on your screen) with the ponytail in the middle.  We video taped to the girls could practice.  As her 2nd class back after being in FL and learning the dance on her own I think she's done FANTASTIC!
