We're back in the Lou!

We made it back from Florida.  While we desperately miss family and our beach days, we have settled back into the baseball life!  Adam has been working hard and enjoying his new position!  Annabelle is thrilled to be back in school with her friends and Piper is stoked to find a whole new set of tables and couches to climb on top of!  All in all we love the Jupiter/STL split!  Already looking forward to next year!

I am over the moon proud of Annabelle and the work she put in to learn her dance recital number via DVD.  She practiced each day, and when she went back to class she didn't miss a beat!

Seriously Silly and Proud!

So, since we do not receive a daily newspaper in FL, Annabelle has been missing her daily dose of comics.  Most people laugh at them....read them to unwind......just to have a laugh.  Not our little girl..... she dissects them....

Gammie and Pop-Pop have started donating their funnies to Annabelle and on the way to school she was ALL BUSINESS reading those funnies.  Lighten up.....eh??

On the polar opposite end of the scale we have Piper an hour later...

After school we went to the post office to pick up...dun dun dun dahhhhhh....Adam's published, official and amazing textbook!  He got top billing on his chapter and we could not be more proud of how hard he works, how talented he is, and how unbelievably dedicated he was to writing this because every minute, every second, every thought about that book was DIFFICULT!  But, once again the Amazing Adam persevered...and BAM.....he's published again!

Asking Adam tonight how he felt about having the book finally finished and published his response was:

"I'll never read it.  Things like this make me feel embarrassed and I just want to pretend it never happened."

I looked at him with a puzzled look and Annabelle said,

"I know Daddy.  I'd feel the same way".

Huh.

A Whole Lot of Love!

Today was the first official day of spring training....Adam crept out of the house long before sunrise...big day for him...first real day as acting Head Trainer!  We are looking forward to a hopefully great, healthy and winning season!!

We had a lovely b-day celebration complete with party blowers, a pinata and a fantastically fun game of Pictionary.... Who knew Annabelle was a dark horse in the game... SHE GUESSED EVERYTHING!

Pipes came down with a fever the other day....the best medicine...an AM walk on the beach of course!

Also, I have no pictures because I wouldn't take my eyes off of her...but yesterday Annabelle was a boogie boarding champ...WHO KNEW?  The waves were pretty giant and the ocean was rough...she just kept diving in to ride the waves...she got wrecked a few times...like legs flailing underwater somersaults, sand EVERYWHERE and she would just get right back up and head in!  Onlookers were even stopping to say "wow, she's brave..."  

We are looking into Spring Break Surf Camp for her.
